The courier insurance packages we offer ensure that you have complete cover that protects your van, your livelihood and the goods you're responsible for, whether you are a self-employed owner driver or manager of a large courier depot.
Our insurance deals are available to self-employed couriers and owner drivers so whatever you carry, whether it's normal parcels and packages, sensitive documents, hazardous materials or motor vehicles, we can get the cover you need and the right price.
Our products:
Goods in Transit Insurance covers goods against theft, loss or damage while in your vehicle or when sent by a third party carrier. The sum insured may be a limit for each package, each vehicle or any one consignment.
Our policies are ALL RISKS which means that whatever limit you cover your goods at, you are covered at this limit. So choosing a £15,000 limit to cover the goods you carry means this is the limit you are covered to. This may seem obvious but there are many Goods in Transit policies around that don't offer such a comprehensive policy like we do and have clauses in that mean you won't get paid out what you think you will, such as weight based policies (pay out on £15 per kilo, for example) or don't cover theft attractive items (electrical goods such as phones).
GOODS IN TRANSIT PRICE GUARANTEE: We won't be beaten on price for Goods in Transit insurance for couriers and if you find a cheaper quote elsewhere we will match this price and knock off a further £15 (we may ask for proof of the other quote to see it is on a like for like basis). |
Our Courier Van Insurance covers you to deliver parcels and packages on the road. Courier van insurance is sometimes referred to as "hire and reward" or just plain courier insurance but note that it is very different to the normal social domestic and pleasure use and even business use, both of which are wrong.
We offer:
Our Courier Liability Insurance will provide you with the full cover that you and your business needs all with flexible payment methods. We'll cover you for:
There are scenarios where it is just you, a self employed courier who works for a company or major dept (such as DX, DPD, DHL, etc) and they require you to have Employers Liability. This is usually so that they can fill your route should be off sick or on holiday and we can easily accommodate this for you on your policy.
If so then we've got even cheaper rates with maximum cover.
Basically, you are a courier if:

Our All Risks cover means it covers theft, loss and damage caused by accidents during transit and also includes theft attractive goods. Apart from the excess (standard to every insurance policy) All Risks means that as a courier, you can have peace of mind that whatever is being delivered is covered up to your requested policy limits.
As well as All Risks Goods in Transit cover in the UK we can also easily cover any conditions your contract requires such as RHA and BIFA. Also, if you are a courier who works in Europe, we can extend cover to CMR, a must if you are a European courier driver.
